+ Rise from the south,struggle to survive and unite. We who repudiate the idea of becoming an adult, grew in the era of subversive publication & mutinous tunes of anti establishment.

+Those were the days when the so called street punks broke down, when refused decided to quit, the blood brothers was the hype, and metal core invaded till the sound of indie brit pop emerged with some poppier tunes.

+Its been ages we have been pulling our self to make it happen, to share the laugh, get connected with the some passionate souls, independents to mainstreams together as a rendezvous when we alldance to some disco-garage-post-punk-indie-electro-shogaze-pop-rock-and-roll beat.

+We believe in what we do, voice from a survivor.Through Music We Can Change the World.  Theory or illusions? We are both and we are way beyond that.

+The Dance Punk Party is the only DancePunk/Postpunk/Nu-Rave community in Malaysia. Jarrod (the curator and organizer) and friends invite Malaysian bands which are unabashedly post-punk/nu-rave/nu-disco/dance-punk and sets em loose on the unsuspecting public once every three months or so.

+The feet don’t lie, people. The people who come are mostly there to dance, simple as that. Examples of bands which have brought us much joy.

+ Revelers usually come with rave paraphenalia in tow: glow sticks, neon kicks, lazer strobe lights, and very low inhibition. Check the pics. You’ll see what a spanking good time they have.
